Here is a partial list of herbs we carry: OREGANO, One of the best and hardiest herbs for cooking, and it has one of the strongest flavors. It lakes full sun, grows to 12-24”. PURPLE SAGE, It is one of the most flavorful sages, they can be used in all recipes calling for the flavor of sage-stuffing, sausages, soups and stews. Also because of its purple-green leaf color it is used as an ornamental. Looks great when planted next to Lavenders.Highly aromatic. Plant in full sun and well-draining soil, grows 36” tall - 36” wide. ROSEMARY, It’s one of those wonderful herbs that makes a beautiful ornamental plant as well as a culinary seasoning. Rosemary has a savory or sweet flavor. It seasons lamb, veal, pork and sausage, as well as poultry, egg dishes, fish, pickles and shellfish. Can be used in salads and vegetable dishes.It has been said that Rosemary can boost memory. THYMUS, This is an excellent herb to grow in pots. It has white to pale purple colored flowers, grows 6-12”. Thyme leaves can be used either fresh or dried in cooking. It goes well in soups, chicken and meat dishes. It also works well with cheese dishes. |
