About Our Business

Our business is located 3 ¼ miles South of Chum's Corner on M-37 or 10 ¼ miles South of Traverse City. We own a garden center, do landscaping and install irrigation systems on both residential and commercial sites. Most of our business is installing landscape sprinkler systems that we design. Some of our shrubs, trees and perennials are grown at our garden center while other plants are bought from wholesale nurseries. Throughout the season we travel downstate to our plant suppliers and handpick quality plants for our gardend center. It is our aim to provide high quality plants for our customers. Through the use of trade magazines/catalogs and attending seminars during the off-season, we are able to stock new and different plants for our clients.

During our season we hire students and also have regular, full-time seasonal employees. We offer our full-time seasonal employees educational opportunities to improve their knowledge in landscaping, design and irrigation. Our company designs most of the landscaping and irrigation projects that we install, but we also bid jobs through landscape architects and other landscape designers. We are fully insured for the protection of our employees and have liability insurance for the needs of our clients.

It is our purpose to serve our customers the best way that we can. Through our landscape designs, we try to incorporate your ideas, needs and wants, as well as use our professional knowledge to bring you the best plan for your landscape. If irrigation is desired, we will design a plan that will do the best job in watering the landscaped areas. We take great pride in doing quality work for our clients and we strive to get jobs finished in a reasonable amount of time.
